A prime opportunity for you to download (for free) one of the best anti-virus programs out there - AVG 7.543 (the most current one), as it really is all it's cracked up to be. It updates itself every day. I think the AVG stands for Anti Virus Grisoft. I can strongly recommend it. I believe you will also find at least one or two others here advocating for it, as well. You will not be sorry if you download it for your computer. It truly is an excellent security program. It is also easy to understand. Good luck to you, and - at least go to the website and give it a look. I do not think you will be disappointed one bit. Sent with good positive energies from Chris in South Portland, Maine, U.S.A.

If you bought the McAfee sucurity system they will have a record of your purchase. Call the customer service number 1-866-622-3911 and pick option 4 on the voice mail. Explain the problem and they will tell you how to proceed from there. No sense getting another system if you have paid for McAffee.

ummm there isn't no way you can accidently do that. You would have to do steps to completely remove the whole anti-virus program such as control panel(the only way). Umm are you sure it is completely remove from your computer rather than just your desktop? Maybe you should check in add/remove programs. If it is, there is only way to get it back which is buy the software.

He has probably only removed the shortcut! You cannot delete an anti virus set up that easily.
Click Start, then ALL Programmes and it should be there. Right click it and create a shortcut to the desktop if you want it there.
Additional tip: To align your programmes in alphabetical order, open ALL PROGRAMMES and then right click on any one of them, then click on SORT BY NAME>

Your son has probably deleted the shortcut icon from the desktop, i would imagine it is still on your pc, go to your search in among your programmes, type it in and it should be found, unless you have the cd, then you can add it again......
it should still be in your pc, aslong as he has not went into control panel and deleted it that way....

Accidentally my ***... he accidentally opened Control Panel, then went into Add/Remove programs, found McAfee, which is nowhere near iPod, and it Uninstall, then clicked 'Yes I really want to uninstall'....

Anyway... do you not have a disk? If you don't, just get something else... something better.
