could exploere be causing my pc to freeze and why do I lose all open windows when one quits responding?

Would mozilla firefox possible help me get around my pc freezing when I am on the net? is it less problematic?
why is it that when I have several windows open and one quits responding that when I end task on the one not responding that they all shut down?

This shouldn't happen with XP. Do you have an older version of Windows?

the answer is simple. you are pushing your coputer to hard.
be patient. dont click anything until the first is comletely loaded.
