My windows screwed up so I was considering installing linux since i have to format the HD anyways.
Anyways I have to have photoshop cs2 for my classes so just wondering if I could some how use it.

I've lost my disc, so reinstalling is out of the question. On top of that, I have no knowledge when the problem occurred, so system restore is off the table, lol.. I have a a error that cause iexplore.exe to keep creating dump files! I know it has to deal with mscrvt.exe files, so I went to Google to try and find the mscrvt.exe files and the DLL but found nothing that would "cure" the computer. Can I get the file off another computer with the same OS and NOT have anymore problem? Do I have to pay Microsoft $125 just to tell me to cut and copy?!?!

I get to a certain point and it tells me to insert the XP disk. But the disk is alwready in the drive?

Its a blue screen, it just says press enter after you insert the disk, or press F2 to exit setup.

what the hec is the problem?

I tried downloading Outlook Express and the .exe download wouldn't work....any other ideas or websites I can try?

Softpedia's version DID NOT WORK.

And my computer did NOT already come with it. Vista comes with a lame Mail and Calendar function, but I dislike them.

I just upgraded from Windows Media Player 9 to 10, and I really don't like version 10. Is it possible for me to go back to Media Player 9? Or would I have to uninstall Version 10 and redownload (is that even possible) Version 9?

Hi. Everytime I try to downloada file from the net, my laptop either freezes, restarts, or shuts down windows. i cant download anything. after i press download, on the part of the window where you have the name of the window (e.g. Microsoft internet Explorer) this part starts blinking and after a few second, the laptop restarts or freezes. What can I do to solve this with out having to format the hard drive? thanks a lot. please give logical solutions.

i am planning to buy vista ultimate soon, can some one please compare vista ultimate to xp pro? why is vista so much better, and please give me examples... don't just say "its security is better" tell me how its security is better. tx, this is kinda serious.. i mean i dont want to go pay 300 dollars to go get some operating system that just looks "cool"... hell, i can get a transformation pack for that, i hope that there are more reasons that vista is good. tx!
