I've lost my disc, so reinstalling is out of the question. On top of that, I have no knowledge when the problem occurred, so system restore is off the table, lol.. I have a a error that cause iexplore.exe to keep creating dump files! I know it has to deal with mscrvt.exe files, so I went to Google to try and find the mscrvt.exe files and the DLL but found nothing that would "cure" the computer. Can I get the file off another computer with the same OS and NOT have anymore problem? Do I have to pay Microsoft $125 just to tell me to cut and copy?!?!

You may want to check with MS support to see if you can request a replacement CD. They'll probably want the CD Key or the Activation code and may charge a small shipping fee.

You might also want to try a program like this (http://www.magicaljellybean.com/keyfinder.shtml) to see if you can pull your current CD Key from the system and then do a fresh install from a copy of MS Windows. Just be sure to use your CD Key and not the one from the CD (that would be illegal and would probably be detected during Activation or Windows Genuine Advantage checks).

Good luck.
