I just upgraded from Windows Media Player 9 to 10, and I really don't like version 10. Is it possible for me to go back to Media Player 9? Or would I have to uninstall Version 10 and redownload (is that even possible) Version 9?

Thanks a lot!

Trying to backtrack with Microsoft is very difficult if not impossible. I wouldnt recommend it but it is, in theory, possible.
Much of the time, however, an upgraded product installs a bunch of new files all over the place and modifies the registry. If you try to go back, the uninstall program might not put everything back the way it is supposed to be and the previous version may not work right.
Also, other things on the system which now depend on the new dlls may not work right if they are removed.

There is a version 11 of Media Player that you might like better than 10.
