I am trying to access command prompt (a.k.a cmd) on my school computer, but there is no run option or my computer or anything. I heard there was some ways like making something with notepad and saving it in a certain way, can someone tell me how to do this?

Thank You

Open notepad, type in CMD, then goto "Save As", change the "Save as type" too All FIles". then in the filename call it something like DOSPROMPT.bat. Then goto this file and double click it. If the prompt window does not open then you might have to type in the complete directory listing as to where to find the file. Normal location is C:/windows/system32/cmd.exe
