I get to a certain point and it tells me to insert the XP disk. But the disk is alwready in the drive?

Its a blue screen, it just says press enter after you insert the disk, or press F2 to exit setup.

what the hec is the problem?

Blue Screens are normal Very Very bad. I would recommend checking out Microsoft's Knowledge Base for help on this one. If your installing Media Center Edition though it has two discs all other versions i think only have one disk.

If you started the computer with the disc in, I GUESS try taking the disc out and puting it back in when you get the error, then press OK. I hope this helps. If you don't trust me, don't try this - I don't want to be responsible for your computer breaking, if it does, which it probably won't.
