My windows screwed up so I was considering installing linux since i have to format the HD anyways.
Anyways I have to have photoshop cs2 for my classes so just wondering if I could some how use it.

Thanks I think I am going to VMware method.
I would use gimp but the class requires me to use photoshop and submit in writing step by step in what I did.

As Mantis said, you could use WINE (link for WineHQ and Photoshop CS compatibility below). You might also consider using GIMP, but given you already have Photoshop, that might not be important. Another option is to partition your disk so you have dual boot options and can experience both Linux and MS Windows (not at the same time, unless you get VMWare - some offerings are free)

May be possible through wine, im not entirley sure though. Most of those kinds of software packages shouldn't be run in linux unless it is specifically written for linux.

Research wine. Its the windows emulator for linux
