I've been using movie maker for a year or so now to make amvs and music videos. I wanna change now.So please list out other programs and also say if they are better or less better than movie maker.Also mention advantages/ disadvantages and features of the program u list for me.

I just got a D-Link USB wireless network adapter for my computer so i could connect to our wireless network, It recognizes the network and connects to it, but the computer will not access the net, even when there are no computers on and using the network at the same time as it. I am using Windows XP and Ubuntu Linux on the computer and i can not access the internet on either of them. I have an apple airport express base station, i know that it is compatible with windows as my windows XP laptop connects to it, and my desktop will connect to the network it just won't connect to the internet, How can i fix the problem,

My computer duel boots into Ubuntu linux and windows XP. Lunux is the first option on the list, and there are people that use my computer that don't understand the message, or miss the prompt and can not get into windows, how can I reverse the list so that windows is at the top so that if a person does not understand the message, or can not use the screen the computer will go into windows anyway, because I am the only person that uses Linux

My computer forgets time, e.g when I start it, it always tells me that the time is Tues 1/1/2002 even if I correct it. It also start automatically as soon as the power is on , not waiting for me to press start button.( 128 RAMS, 40G hard disk and XP)

I need to purchase Windows XP Professional I currently have Windows XP Version 2002 but I did not purchase it I received it from somebody else that purchased it so I can't update it when Microsoft releases new updates and my Anti-Virus software has expired. My computer is running very slowly and I'm getting worried I do everything on my computer so I can't afford to have it crash on me. Can anybody tell me where I can buy a legitiment (latest edition) version of XP Pro and download it so that I don't have to wait for the CD to get here (if that's even possible). I tried doing it but there are way too many versions, questions, too much to choose from so can somebody who knows more about this please help me I'd really appreciate it.

When I asked my first question, I got only two answers, and they were in no way helpful. I wanted to fix a problem with IE7, but only got responses like: Trash IE and get Firefox. I use Firefox on my iMac, and like it, but IE7 is also a good browser. Why can't people help instead of being totally oblivious to the original question? I know about other browsers, and I run two different ones side by side on this computer, but the original question still goes unanswered. Oh, well, I guess that's just life. Too many questions and not enough answers...I'll just take my 5 points docked and go on.

My windows movie maker wont open...I tried restarting the computer..it opened at first, but as soon as I closed it and then reopened it it wouldnt open any more..the same thing goes for my windows media player...what do you think is wrong and how do you fix it.? please help!!!

on the lower right hand side in the tool bar there is a blue and white question mark flashing . it pops up from time to time to warn me about spyware. when i click it it takes me to a website for spydawn. i have already ran a spyware program how do i get rid of this pain in the butt alert. i have tried everything and i cant even remove it. please help..

I keep getting a very annoying Internet explorer application error window that pops up everytime a close out an open web page. It reads (essentially) "The instruction at 0x7c901010 referenced memory at 0x0000001c. The memory could not be read. Click OK to terminate program". I'm pretty sure there's something I need to do in "internet options" under the Tools tab, but I don't know exactly what. Hoping for some help, Thanks

I don't want to re-import all my music from iTunes after I re-format my hard drive, and I don't want to sit here and make 50 MP3 cd's that I'm never going to listen to. How do I back up my iTunes so that I can just pop the CD in and it all comes back up?

i have power dvd to play and also VLC to play, and they play the vob files fine, but is there any way i can watch the dvd with the menus the right way as opposed to just watching the sepert vob files? it is a full dvd and has all audio tracks in tack. it also has vob files for the menus, extras and all. i hope this makes sense. basicaly long story short, (too late) i have a ton of vob files to make a dvd and i just want to watch it like a regular dvd. how can i do that. spacifical, im kinda a noob. thanks! :)
