windows movie maker help.....?

My windows movie maker wont open...I tried restarting the computer..it opened at first, but as soon as I closed it and then reopened it it wouldnt open any more..the same thing goes for my windows media player...what do you think is wrong and how do you fix it.? please help!!!

Sounds odd.
It is possible that an automatic update has caused this.
I would reinstall Movie Maker and Media Player.
If that doesn't work, resubmit a question.
