im having problems playin games ive downloaded,they seem jumpy when i play and other times i cant install them

You know how on all the CSI shows when they are looking at pictures on a computer they can zoom in and unfuzz and unpixelate a picture, basically "cleaning it up"? Is there a program where us average-joes can do it to our pictures?
My father and I went on a roadtrip and he actually used an scanner to load his pictures onto his computer and they are all pixelated (not to mention white borders cuz he doesn't seem to know how to CROP!) and I'd like to clean them up before I print them out, send them to people, and scrapbook them.
Any help is appreciated.
I'd REALLY like a free downloadable program if one exists.

Is there a way I can bind 2 keys on my keyboard to be able to go to the next song and go to the last song with out having to have my iTunes window selected and up. I know that if you have iTunes selected, you can just use arrow keys, but I want to be able to switch without having to Alt Tab out of a program(specifically a game, I like to game with music) to switch the song. Thanks for the support!

I have a player for mp3's that has a equalizer on it that i can adust my sound...my question is when i use an "internet radio" online all i have is the standard windows volume control which has no sound adjustments..just volume. Do I have to change my sound card?

All Dell sent was installed software cd's. There is no xp cd. and System restore doesnt work. Is there a way to revert my computer back to its original condition with out all this garbage so family can use it?

How do I get rid of seeing the printer characters in a document? In other word all those funny symbols that show things like line breaks, and the dots that show spaces. I am using Word 2003 version.

I use fireworks for all my graphic designs. From editing photos to creating logos. It is a great software. I have used Imageready as well, but to me, nothing beats fireworks.

I have not come around to using Photoshop, but is it better than Fireworks? I mean... I really don't use Photoshop because I am satisfied by Fireworks. What are the advantages of Photoshop over fireworks, and which is more advanced?

As you can see, I am not trying to down talk either of the software, as they both belong to Adobe now.

example i have 2 updates for IE

WindowsXP-KB883939-x86-ENU.exe

and

WindowsXP-KB925454-x86-ENU.exe

the 883939 is obviously much older than 925454, and thus the versions of files carried by 925454 are newer than that carried by 883939. if i try to install 883939 after installing 925454, will the newer file versions be replaced by older versions? (eg for a file like mshtml.dll)

i have following IE updates with me

when i install the first one, it asks for rebooting but i check the checkbox of "do not restart now". then i install second one and againt dont restart. continuing this way i install all of above one by one without restarting even once. finally, after application of last one (above updates are in alphabetical order- so newer ones are later), i restart. will such practice result in correct and optimal application of all updates, or should i restart each time after applying an update?

recently my PC is acting weird. whenever i open IE.. another IE would load and close almost immediately. which means 2 IE would load and 1 of the would close. sometimes it will direct me to some WinAntiware site. worse cases.. while surfting thru youtube, it hanged for 5min. i left it open since i thought it was going to load.
after the 5 min freeze.. TONS and i really means TONS of IE loaded, its like it keep loading.. with the same page im surfting.. i kept pressing alt f4 for like a min till it stopped. any suggestions?

Hi

I have recently bought an Ipod Nano, the new version. I have trouble downloading the songs for free onto the Ipod. Itunes asks me to update the Ipod and it erases all my previously loaded music. I have tried Limewire and it doesn't seem compatiable with Ipods. I use Internet cafes so I can't store the songs. Help!

I seccessfuly install 3d games like gta,max spain,NFS but when I double click on it's icon,nothing is displayed and no error comes
and my ram is 256MB which supports these games?I don't know what is the problem
but 2d games like Mario and all successfuly runs in my computer.
In my older computer with 128 MB of ram,NFS was successfuly running but in this computer with 256MB of RAM it displays NFS starting picture only for 5 seconds and suddenly dissapears and no error comes
