KCEasy is pretty good. It does not come with spyware or adware like a lot of others. It's not the most feature rich but it's worth using to avoid all the junk you get with the others which can harm your computer, invade your privacy, work badly, or all of the above.

Be care what you choose to use. Some people on here will say they never had a problem using a certain version but you'd be surprised how many of these people have spyware on their computers and don't even know it. I'm an IT consultant so I'm hyper aware of what does and does not have spyware or adware.
Oh, and KCEasy is free.

F Limeware!

I use Limewire. The have a free basic version and a paid for version. The paid for version seems to find more files but it might just be my imagination.

I don't think Limewire has spyware on either version, it will slow your computer down in my experience though. You need a mega bunch of ram to run it and another program at the same time.

If I was you before I started using any type of file sharing software I would make sure that I had a good virus protection and so on. After tha I would get Limewire basic(the free one) and I would download Limewire Pro off of it. Thats what I did and it worked fine
