I have a player for mp3's that has a equalizer on it that i can adust my sound...my question is when i use an "internet radio" online all i have is the standard windows volume control which has no sound adjustments..just volume. Do I have to change my sound card?

it depends what sound card you have, most have a built in equalizer, i have the ac 97 and if you go to control panel and sound effects manager click on the equalizer tab and you have a good equalizer
