i had a trial of microsoft office, but had to redo my whole computer and can't find the product key. can anyone tell me where i can buy just the microsoft word since it's all i need for my class? the whole office cost way to much. thank you .:)

OK ... I just ran Windows Vista Business on my computer .. I see it's a great operator system. Now I'm trying to open my Windows Live Messenger and it doesn't let me; means I'm trying to go online with it but there's an error. WLM says that I need to check the PROXY setting on the options, which I did and everthing is fine, then it's telling to check my computer's firewall, which I added WLM to a total access, and still giving me the same error, same happens with Yahoo! Messenger. I don't know what else to do. By the way my desktop is connected wirelessly.. Please answer if you have experienced the same problem as me, or if you really know what to do ... Don't come and tell to go to microsoft troubleshooting because I already did. I will appreciate it thank Every1

I have an XP Media Center Edition and I heard that Vista's Movie Maker is supposed to be better. Does Microsoft offer downloads of the Vista Movie Maker for XP? Or is it something that runs only on Vista?

Do you know a store that still sells Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, and if not, what other Adobe program is similar to Adobe Premiere Pro 1.5, that stores like Best Buy or something sell. (I mean a store that you go to pickk it up, not an online store)

ok...so i have a season pass to the tv show grey's anatomy. now it always has downloaded when i click check for purchases before but last week and now this week it won't download. It says "all purchases have been downloaded for this account." How can I get this episode to download?

I mean, did you see Mac OS X and compared it with Windows Vista ... all of the new features in Vista are taken from Mac OS X, the Gadgets taken from Widgets in Mac, the search bar, the Windows Media Player's library and the player's bar ... etc

Ok so I absolutely abhor WMP 10 and 11 so how can I install WMP 9 on Win XP? I've dug through the internet and found the version for XP but XP refuses to let install. Is there any way to force it to install anyway?

Hi So basically i got bought a windows vista capable computer off my dad and apparantly im okay for a free upgrade from XP to vista.I can't seem to find it though, even though i've been on some microsoft sites, and my computers ready and its available for it, and Vista is on sale now, and i want my free upgrade now!!!

I went to "add a printer" and "troubleshooting" to find tips, and I think my problem has to do with not having the installation cd, what can I do? This printer has worked before.

the two options are :

install the wizard automatically (recommended)

and

install from a list or specific location (advanced)


it says:
the hardware was not installed because the wizard could not find the necessary software.

I bought an Windows Vista Capable computer a couple months ago and it came with a free upgrade. So the disc should be arriving in the mail sometime in the Spring. I have heard about some bugs and compatibility issues with Windows Vista, so how long should i wait until its safe to upgrade my PC to vista? Thank you!

I use the ms paint program a lot and recently it seems to have developed a mind of it's own. My drawings will become distorted
after and even during the creation process. Close examination (zoom) reveals that pixels that were not designated to be colored are now all of a sudden colored.(The pixel should remain white) If I draw a stright black line, some of the pixles next to the line while be colored a couple of shades of gray, giving the drawing a cloudy apperance. The more I add to the drawing the more distorted it becomes. It does not make any differance which color
is used (except white) I get the same results. I have already tried
the removel and reinstall process, but no luck. HELP!

I want to erase everything and reinstall WIN XP. Do I just insert my CD and follow the prompts? Any tips? Can non-techies do this?

I have a laptop with Windows XP, Office 2003. Regardless of what program I'm in, and completely at random, a small scroll bar appears under the cursor, and suddenly I'm at the bottom of a file, or on the last slide of a PowerPoint presentation, or somewhere else I don't want to be. How do I disable this scrollbar?

What is the best way to make my itunes music ( file type m4p) playable in windows media? Should I try to convert the files to mp3's? If so what file converter that will do that? None of the ones I found will convert m4p's.
