I customised my desk top and,I don't know how it happened'but i do not have the "start menu" at the bottom left corner of my screen no more.How can I put it back there?

I no that the windows vista cost 400-800$ so far for the full version to install it to ur old computer... but i was wondering if you were buyin a new computer will it come with the stripped versio nand you will have to update it or does it come with the full versio and how much will it cost!?!?!?!?!?!

My computer was Windows Media Edition and there was a program called windows media center where you can watch and record live TV. but as i chage my window to Windows Vista that program was gone..where can i download that Windows Media Center?

A couple days ago I upgraded my windows media center to a vista beta that I got off the internet. I restarted the computer and now it won't boot, not even in safe mode. Right now I have a extra hdd connected with just windows XP on it. The hard drive with vista is split into two partitions, one with the OS and the other for documents. I can access my documents but not the OS partition. All I want is my saved files that are on the vista partition. Please help

itunes is driving my crazy! For example I have the new eminem album which features multiple artists and it splits the whole thing up as if it was separate. I can't describe it very well, but an example of this is when you go to browse though your music by album cover it has like 14 album covers for eminem's latest album and only one for most of my others.

Is there any view options i can change to make it change so it displays all the songs in one album?

Let me explain what I'm doing, in case there's a better way. I made a picture in paint of a bulletin board. The idea is to make that my desktop background, and save a few things that I'll always need (a phone number, a website) on it in the form of 'notes' hung (drawn) on the 'bulletin board'. The thing is, I also wanted to add some of my kids' pictures to the board and paint won't open them because 'this is not a valid bitmap file'.
