Some download areas have the songs with out lyrics ready to download.

Look under Karaoke

Or do a search with the title of the song and then add the work Karaoke behind it... see what comes up.

Walmart only charges about .88 cents for a song for the Karaoke Version of the song.

See the link I put on below...

Try a search on karaoke or "karaoke software". I have seen software advertised that works something like this: It takes the common elements of the left and right stereo channels and derives a center audio channel. Generally lead vocals fall into the center, (more or less). It then inverts the phase of this center channel and mixes that signal back into the originals. This supposedly cancels out the lead vocal (more or less). Good luck.

Like someone said, an equalizer can do this but it will damage the song quality. If you can find just the vocals (an acapella) you can inverse their amplitude and combine it with the original to cancel out the vocals in the waveform. Probably easier to find the instrumental :)

Nero Suite burning software has a music remixer/equalizer program that is awesome. This may do the trick for you. Good luck.

You can get rid of most of the vocals with a good equalizer but you might still hear them a little.
