i cant get past my windows user password screen. i found this site that has this this to adjust windows passwords.http://home.eunet.no/~pnordahl/ntpasswd/
i know it will work but will it fit on a 3.5 inch disk ? help

The 3.5 is considered a "floppy disk." It is the replacement for the older 5" removable disks, which were actually floppy. It has more memory but compared to CDs, DVDs, and memory sticks, it is very limited. If you try it, compare the size of what you want to download with the the memory size of the disk. You may have to use a bunch to complete the download.

Better start looking for a new removable medium as the 3.5 will not be with us much longer. If your computer has a USB port, you can get a Lexar JumpDrive (memory stick) and download to that.

Hey dude, a 3.5 inch disk is called a "floppy" because the inside is floppy.

why can't you get past the sign in screen ...you know on power up just before windows opens you can push F8 on keyboard and come up in safe mode and try to fix your problem. You can add new user and pasword if you like just remove old sign in so you won't be confused with it.
