Hi. What's the best way to backup my entire Mac Book Pro laptop, to an external hard drive?

Ideally using Freeware software, so I don't have to download it via BT.

I need to be able to restore it entirely. Something like a disk image would be good, but any suggests are good.

Thier site says you can copy any DVD to CD. I am considering purchasing this download, & I need to know if this is really possible? How well does it work? Since this is an edownload I also wonder if the software can then be put on CD itself? Need constructive opinions please.

Hi dudes, hope all is well. I'm wiping a network machine, I want a fresh start, there's so much rubbish on there, what's the best way to do it? Should I back up all my drivers first? If so, what's the easiest way of doing this? I have a USB stick. I've got active Killdisk but I figure that's more for wiping machines before you sell them and I'd have to manually find the drivers or hope that windows sorts them out for me over the net. And what about my network settings, how can I check them/what do I need to make sure I have right for after the wipe? I really don't wanna get it wrong! Thanks so much, really hope you are all good,

I just downloaded a few e-books from demanoid. They're all in '.lit' format, which is for Microsoft Reader. Now, plese suggest to convert .lit to word format or pdf or better still, an alternative program available for free download that can read these files. thanks!

If I uninstall Nero Startsmart and all Nero stuff will it effect my CD burning capability? I have never even used Nero, it just came on my computer pre-installed. My Boyfriend says I will not be able to burn CD's if I remove it. I use I-tunes to burn CD's. He says Nero is ran through I-tunes? I laughed at him!
