i cant install VLC & i cant see the video in media player classic

U need to have quicktime or just convert mov files to mpeg through conversion softwares or online

As long as the .MOV file is encoded using Quicktime 6 codec or older (i.e. not QuickTime 7), then you can use a FREE product called "Quicktime Alternative" which will install a codec and player that will allow you to play all .MOV files that aren't in Quicktime 7 format on your older Windows 98 system.
Go to the following link and download Quicktime Alternative 1.56 for Windows 95/98/98SE/NT/2000/XP/2003.
Version 1.77 is for Windows 2000/XP/2003/Vista only.

VLC Media Player can play mov files, but i'm not sure if it supports Windows98.
