Vista has four edition Business, Home , enterprise ,etc. as per the need.Best thing about vista is it is faster than windows -xp the application run time on vista has been reduced to atleast 40% what it was on XP . Also IE7 has better features like tab browsing, comparatively faster than firefox and high security.
To enjoy this features of vista u might need to upgrade ur hardware to 2 duo core and around 2 GB of ram which is not a good thing but looking the way features in vista work u will not mind to shell some extra amount for that. On desktop the sidebar with gadgets is really nice thing, where u can add and remove them even side bar as per ut need.

Ive not used it although i haven't heard a single good thing about it yet. Its badly made and full of errors and mistakes from what Ive read and been told. i Don't see having IE 7 as an advantage its crap :P ill stick with my Fire fox 2 tnx.
For the price atm vista is pointless maybe when the iron out some of the bugs and drop the price abit then maybe get it but not till then.

The good of Vista comparing to XP is more security and more eye catching on those Aero. Other than that Vista just full of crap.

I have it a short amount of time (obviously, you could not purchase it before yesterday) but, I think it is what we all originally thought computers would------make things easier for us. In a short amount of time. More protection. I dont think you'll need a smart (get it) card anymore! No more restore disks........so on and so. I 'm starting to sound like a rep for microsoft---not my intent. Have you tried it? Its worth it. If you do, somehow let us know how you like it.Stay virus free!!!

because it has antivirus and antispyware biult in.
it also has a huge graphics suppport.
also it has very good GUI.
