Serach in google as follows and you mayu be lucky enough to find an older version of the software
"software name" Space " Version number you want" Space Download
This would get you links of some sites which hosts that particular version of software for download.
I have used it successfully before. Hope it will be useful for you too.

Sure you can. Sometimes the older version has been perfected more and doesn't have so many bugs.
