Is it that u r not logged into the real administrator account. If this is nt the case scan it with anti spayware by lavasoft and by the Hijack THis in the safe mode(Press f5 while rebooting ur system to enter into the safe mode with administrator login). Scan ur system in safe mode.
You can download the Lavasoft ad-aware and Hijack and many other utilities like Norton real player etc from here for freeeeeee
www.i-search.co.in

If it is indeed disabled by the admin then again you can enter into the safe mode to change the settings of your login.

Hope your problem will be sorted out.

Hi Rajesh...This error is caused by restrictions placed in the registry...To enable Task Manager, try any of these methods:

Method 1
Click Start, Run and type (better - Copy & paste) this command exactly as given below:
REG add HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System /v DisableTaskMgr /t REG_DWORD /d 0 /f

Method 2
Click Start, Run and type Regedit.exe
Navigate to the following branch:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER \ Software \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion \ Policies\ System
In the right-pane, delete the value named DisableTaskMgr
Close Regedit.exe

P.S.: If this restrictions are placed in your personal system (ie. not in network etc ) without you doing anything, or without your knowledge, then it's highly likely that a Virus has blocked the usage of Task Manager in your system by enabling the restrictions via the registry. Then its strongly suggested that you perform a thorough checkup of your system immediately..
