not under the copy right law if it has been opened. i worked at an electronics store and what i saw people doing was return the software say it is defective and exchange it for the same thing later come back and return the un opened one. BUT i am not encouraging this. just thougt it was interesting

actualy, you can't return it. But you can sell it back to get some money. I see people sell it at $140 on ebay.

Software can never be returned, only exchanged.

WHOOPS! You are SOL. You are pretty much stuck. About all you can do is find someone that wants it, and try to sell it to them...There are some suckers out there...give it a try.

You can try - but typically if software has been opened - you own it.
