I have a legal copy of windows on my laptop how can I copy that program on a disk so I can put it on my other computer?

I have Windows ME. (No I can't afford to ugrade too XP so please don't suggest that)
Some pictures on my computer from the My Pictures folder end up in the windows background option for the desktop backgrounds. (Active Desktop-Customize My Desktop-Backgrounds) Does this same thing in the screensaver option as well.
How do I stop these photos from automatically saving themselves there? This causes a problem when I try to move my photos into other folders that I have created to keep the pictures organized. If the picture is in the desktop background options I get an error message in My Pictures Folder when I try to move the picture to another folder saying can not move source file may be in use.
The only way I have found to get theses pictures out of the desktop background options list is to delete the picture from my computer .But I want to keep these photos . What can be done to stop this??

I have a few video files (Windows Media Player format) on my computer. Normally I click on a file and it will start to play. Then when the video is playing I can fast forward or rewind back to a certain point. The problem is some of the files won’t let me jump ahead or backwards. If I try and move play on by a couple of minutes the video jumps to the beginning again.

I have tried to play the same files on Real Player, but again it doesn’t let me move forward without playing the full video. I’ve tried taking off Windows Media player and installing an updated version (still have the same problem). I just wondered if anyone knows how to fix this problem, it doesn’t do it will all files, just some.
Thanks for any suggestions you might have.

Ok so my ok guys so say i have a drafting project due tommorow or im failing, and its just my lucky day and my floppy disk suddenly became corrupt. While saving my project on CADKEY to my floppy, i get an error which saves a bad copy of it anyway.

So any help would be much appreciated.

Ok i downloaded limewire just for a few songs...i got the songs and uninstalled limewire....now wen i open itunes there in the left there is a file that shays shared and it has the music that i got off limewire in it...it will not put that music in my itunes library and i cannot drag and drop it or find it in my documents or anything...also i will not let me delete anything in it or delete the shared thingy...PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE HELP!!! also please speak normal to where i can understand wut ur saying im not good w/ computers......also nothing i got will play in my ipod either.....

In my English class, we're doing a research paper. My paper was 18 pages long. I set up the Word document so that it would have the page numbers. However, there was no page number for page 14. It has a page number for all pages except this one. Does anybody know why this would happen and if I can fix it?

I had to format the hard drive and reinstall windows xp.

The problem is that I have only got a tiny amount of hard disk space left after reinstalling a couple of my programs, I think when I reinstalled windows it might have been into the wrong partition? I know I've still got loads of space left, but windows thinks that the hard drive is nearly full. What do I need to do to fix this? Will I have to reinstall windows again?
