LOL y do people try and put the whole description of their question into the question...good going, no one will know wth you are talkin about...but let me try, lol
Before the printer can operate correctly you need to install the driver disc and plug it in.

Windows XP should recognize the new printer. If not, load the disk that came with it and follow the directions.

Install the driver on the disc and then plug it in when it tell you to and not before. You also need to have Win XP service pack 1 or service pack 2 installed.

You must load the printer software into the hard drive,and windows will automatically find the driver to operate your printer on your system.

U read the printer manual and follow all the instructions.
