Does anyone know of a LEGAL software to rip DVD's to my hard drive?

None of them are because it is illegal to rip DVD's in general. You have to buy unprotected discs if you want to do this legally you will have to purchase unprotected discs directly from the manufacturer (costs more) or buy the movies from a seller like iTunes (9-15$ Per movie no recurring or anything.)
