Software - January 2007

Iternet Explorer 7 is causing me problems. I have read that I can remove IE7 and I will automatically revert to my prior IE browser, IE6. I would like that, but when I look at the list of programs on my computer, I do not see IE 6. All I see is IE 7. Did Microsoft remove IE6 when they installed IE 7--or is it there somewhere--or does it just come back? I am concerned if I remove IE7 that I might be left with no browser.

I'm trying to put together a slideshow and it won't let me rearrange my photos so one plays at a different spot than another....I have tried everything. You should just be able to drag and drop it at a different spot in the list of photos to be used in the slideshow right?

In Microsoft Access, it is possible to type in code as SQL.

Is there any code that can be used in Excel or is that not practical? I was just wondering what language I would have to learn to code for Excel. Maybe Visual Basic?

Also, what useful functions can I code for in Excel other than what comes with the software?

Is there some code in Excel similar to SQL in Access?

i have 30 individual word documents which i need to print many copies of and in a specific order. is there any way i can put all the documents in my preffered order in a new document??? i want a quick way to do so as they are catalouges that need printing for my superviser NOW!!

i never had windows vista on my drive, just three diff partitions and had windows vista on one of them. now i formatted all partitions and when i want to install windows xp , it says "BOOTMGR is missing"..
Anyone know what is going on?

I am going to be doing some traveling soon and I would like to rip some anime dvds to laptop using the Matroska codec. I have tried the method where you rip the VOB/INFO file off the dvd and convert them to mkv but I can't seem to get it to work. What is the easiest way to do this?

Is there a recommended speed to burn Iso files. Ive been burning them at 48x (7,200 KB/s ) and they have been workin ok but should I burn slower in the future.
