can anyone tell me some good software to use for downloading movies, ive tried limewire, ares, and mp3rocket all not too good.
always download corrupt files or something completly different!
help!!

I have a laptop and recently I have to format the hard drive and reinstall everything including XP. Before the format everything worked perfectly. However, whenever I try to watch DVD's or an video clips now, it works perfectly for about 5 minutes and then the clip starts slowing down, the sound continues but the video becomes really slow. I currently use real media player and the latest version of windows media player and the exact same problem occurs with both programs. Any suggestions?

I'm working on a project that tracks a person's time off balance.

The formula I'm using is =A3-B2+B1 where A3 is the starting balance, B2 is the time used and B1 is the accrual rate that is to be added in monthly.

Example: Someone with a balance of 17.334 hrs uses 5.2 hrs of time off giving them 12.134 hrs and then gets a monthly addition of 6.334 hrs with the final total of 18.468 hrs.

So here is the problem, when a person used more time than they have, they get a negative number for the balance and not a 0. When the next accrual is put it, the new balance is wrong because of the negative numbers.

Example: someone has a balance of 7.5 hrs left and uses 9 hrs then gets 6 hrs of accrual. Excel shows 4.5 hrs but for payroll purposes, it should read the full 6 hrs.

I need a corrected formula to put into these time sheets so that when the balance is <0, it will read 0 and then the accrual will be added in full. I'm not sure how to do this. Any help would be great.

I screened for viruses by pc cillin and web root spysweeper. I have an HP pavilian zd 7000, which came with norton anti-virus, which I had to delete to install pc cillin, would be a cause or is it my operating system?

i just bought a compaq presario c300 laptop and need to install the following drivers but there is a problem cause i could not get these drivers and software even on compaq/hp web site(network controller, PCI device, SM controller, usb controller among others). It seems that something is corrupting my internet experience on explorer, firefox and outlook. The programs will freeze up when I try to do anything other than read email. Software downloads freeze up and require me to make numerous attempts before I can successfully download them, if at all.

I purchased an Intel P4, XP CPU from a local dealer at New Panvel in New Bombay (India) by paying Rupees 15, 550/-. The dealer promised me Moon but I expected only minimum service from them. When, some prominent dealers in Vashi (New Bombay) offered me the same system –XP-P4 for just Rupees 13, 500/-, the local dealer advised me to be “cautious” with prominent dealer of Vashi and agreed to provide me best service on XP P4 for 15, 550/=. I blindly trusted them agreed and paid them the money.

Since some of my software works only on Window 98, I requested him to make duel my system by providing me Window 98 as well as XP. However after installation of a brand called GIGABYTE (he gave just the box of the said brand and said he had installed it) now my Internet works only on Window 98, the dealer says that Reliance Mobile (which I use for my internet connections-LG 5340) will work only on Window 98 and never work simultaneously on XP and Window 98.

I think they have cheated me, hence I want to get my doubt cleared from either the Microsoft or the Reliance -whether the local dealer is right on his part or just fooling me. Hence I request you to guide me in this regard. I stay in a remote place in Maharashtra (India) and Internet connection is a must for my business. I had to barrow Rupees sixteen thousand for interest and paying back the money without satisfactions. Please help me in this regard…to whom I should contact in order to get my doubt cleared and also to get prompt service such as getting Internet connection on my XP too.

At the moment there all going into my different personal folders but are all stored on my C: drive which is where Windows runs from. How do I change it so that they all get automatically stored on the D: drive to save space on the working drive.

I am trying to repair Windows installer on XP pro with service pack 2

I want to make sure this doesn't start to erase my current data:

Insert Windows and reboot to CD
Then instead of hitting "repair", click "setup windows xp now"
After clicking f8 to agree to license, highlight the copy of your O.S. on the list and click "R"
