Nero is the best (king of all burner software) but you have to pay for it. Trial version available here:

http://www.nero.com/nero7/eng/nero7-demo.php

But there are other good burners like Roxio etc. Your cd burner should normally come with a burning package (unless you bought an oem version) and you should be able to use that as well.

To burn mp3 simply use any cd burning software and choose the 'data cd' format and simply drag/select the mp3 you want to burn.

To burn audio format you need to use 'audio cd' format which will convert the mp3 to audio format that will also allow you to play the cd in your hi fi/cd player. (Mp3's on cd will only play on devices that support mp3 playback)

Hope this helps
