I recently had to reboot my os, and i'm installing everything back on, but for some reason i can't get microsoft office back on, i've tried 3 different versions, and when i try to install, the error message keeps saying the specified path is missing, so unless someone knows what this means, then is there another program i can use similar to word, because is the only thing i need to type my school papers.

Hi can anyone help me with installing a new OS? I accidentally formatted my disk, (using another PC, this disk was the secondary disk on another computer drive E:/ so to say) and erased all the files in it including the OS. and when I insert the installer XP-OS CD during the boot to CD, it will say that it cannot find a file, the file which it is reffering to is somewhat NTSLGR?? i can't really remember.. but is says it cannot find it. hence it cannot continue.. can anyone please help me??
