since you weren't too clear in your question there could be two possible for this:
1> some of the files got corrupted. if this is the case than you must've got CRC (cyclic redundancy check) error. in most cases this can't be fixed.
2> some of the files were passord protected. if this is the case then you must've been asked to enter password. if this is the case then you can extract them by getting the password. there are tools that claim to break rar password, but they don't work. trust me.

What was the error you got? If you downloaded the file from the internet or intranet it could be due to an incomplete download. try redownloading the file . If it still does not open then the original rar file is corrupt
