There's a Mac OSX download of openoffice but is it a good idea or a bad idea? Will it cause my Mac any problems?

I just bought Windows Vista Prem Home upgrade. My worry is that my toshiba laptop might not be able to handle it. Will I be able to uninstall vista from the laptop and reinstall it into another laptop?

I pressed some random buttons on my computer, now when I'm in excel I can't press the / key. Every time I press this key, it treats it like the ALT key-it sends me to the menus. Has anyone else had this problem? Do you know how to fix it???? Please help! Again, it is my slash key, or /.

I also just wanted to mention that I have checked all my settings (which are normal), and have tried every function key not only by itself, but also CTRL+Function and CTRL+SHIFT+Function to try and fix it. I also checked my macros to make sure I didn't create one by mistake. I didn't. I also checked my keyboard options, which are normal. On top of all of that, the / key seems to work perfectly fine in all other programs, and this is the only key with this problem, both on my number pad and the main keyboard.

After about 20 seconds it switches off and comes back on in a vicious cirlce.I,ve tried all the safe modes etc in F8 but still after 20 seconds it switches off and goes back to startup.Something that did pop up on a blue screen was ....stop 00221..msvcrt.dll bad checksum.I fear the computer may well and truly had it,but any assistance would be appreciated.

I am converting old family VHS and with the Auto tune on some in leaves a black gap on the left, I would need to re ajust the picture. Also I need to Cut adverts and split the video in to sections, is there any software out there that can do this?

ok, well i have windows vista, :] but i ran the windows vista upgrade advisor and it said i need to upgrade my video card and i dont want to cuz i had the windows vista transformation pack running on the same pc and the "transparent" look looked great! it did not run slow or anything. in fact i was watching a video[wmp11] under another window. and i was running windows live messenger and it ran great, windows vista does almost the ssame. i dont get it. =/ *another question* even tho ur comp cant run "aero" is there a option to run it? [[at the users risk]]

Everytime I tried to download it . I get hung up for 10 or 15 minutes
