Software - December 2006

I am trying to burn some Christmas music CD's, from music I
copied into iTunes from my own CDs. I put the songs onto a
playlist and clicked on burn, and it keeps popping up with a message that says, "This CD is not blank."--and it is! I have tried
4 different ones, straight out of the package! I have no idea what
is going on here. Any ideas? Thanks!

And preferably, using Windows Media Player to do it. Otherwise, any advice on this will work. Thank you.
PS I don't mean -when- you are ripping the music from the CD, I mean when it's already too late, and it's on your computer in .wma format.

EG: if I have data formatted like:
IP192.168.0-dot-1
IP192.168.0-dot-2
IP192.168.0-dot-3

How do I use a formula in Microsoft Excel to automatically turn the values in those cells to:
192.168.0.1
192.168.0.2
192.168.0.3
etc.

ok,whenever i try to make a movie i make the movie than i go to burn it onto a dvd.and than i get and error saying that there is no dvd in the drive when i know that there is.why does it say that for?and i keep trying and it still says the same thing also.please help!i need to make some movies from pics for the holidays!

I downloaded some kodak moments that my daughter sent me as an e-mail attactment. After I downloaded them, I was scrolling through other photos I'd received and discovered .bmp files in between the photos. They looked like icons of things like walmart.bmp, starbucks.bmp, m&m.bmp and X-men.bmp... what's with that? After I deleted them... they appeared again the next day. I'm am using the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer if that matters....

I need to reformat my computer to 98 SE or a last resort, 95

It has Win.Xp on it righ now. Its just too old and slow, plus it has virus mania


I have a Windows 98 SE Installation disk.
If I put it into my top DVD driver it doesn't react
I put it in the Cd-Writer drive and right-click on the Cd's icon and click Open. The files come up.I click set-up and it says I need to re-boot the system in MS-DOS mode.

How do I get my computer in MS-DOS mode?

When im downloading it, it has the feedback thing going in circles but i have no idea when the installation is going to end! I have microsoft windows, i am downloading it and then i clicked install, when i did that it just stays there and i have no idea how long it is going to stay installing! How long should it take? What do i see when the installation is done?

I am having trouble looking at videos on the net, like on myspace, i get a big Q with a question mark in it. I downloaded quiktime and that wastn the problem. i realized it was my adobe flashplayer 9. now i have uploaded almost 10 times and it works but then stops working randomly could it have something to do with Windows explorer 7? Like for example you may creating a drawing on photoshop or you could be playing a game and you want everything recorded into a video, so that at the end you can save your work in an mpg format (from when you started playing your game or drawing your picture) then you can vew what you did on windows media player. How can i do this? Any ideas? Any help will be appreciated thanks!

Every time I put the bootable win2k cd in it tells me I can fit an older OS than the one im using. My current XP was loaded by a "mate", and its counterfiet. Also my laptop only has 190mb of ram so win2k works better on it. I have a aux drive so can delete entire HDD if needed. No floppy drive, only CDR. Thanks

I have seen several questions about photo editing software, but my question is -

How can I easily have several photos open on screen at once? All I want to do is to be able to choose which out of a bunch of near-identical photos would be the best. This would be a really useful procedure! I use Windows Picture Viewer normally, but it only seems to allow one picture to be open at once.

I see the blue screen and this is two partition:
1.partition c 400 mb free.
2. unpartition space with only 8 mb.
The computer say that i cannot setup windows on C partition beacuse this is not enough space, , but i cannot delete it beacuse the computer work on it, and I cannot run windows again and delete files beacuse the setup is run again (also without CD)
In concultion, i cannot install the windows, cannot delete the partition and cannot do anything,
what can i do?
this is no problem to delete the comupter, i want to format it
