I am trying to burn some Christmas music CD's, from music I
copied into iTunes from my own CDs. I put the songs onto a
playlist and clicked on burn, and it keeps popping up with a message that says, "This CD is not blank."--and it is! I have tried
4 different ones, straight out of the package! I have no idea what
is going on here. Any ideas? Thanks!

Its the burner itself, it can't read those cd's you purchased. Some burners are sensitive to the color dye on the lens. I would suggest trying a different media or simply just upgrade your burner, you can get the latest burner for about $50 on http://www.ebay.com, look for NEC burners.

Sometimes, you might get bad CDs.

Make sure that they are the right format. If you have the ability, try buying a different brand and see if the problem persists. If it does, then there might be a problem with your hardware.

It could POSSIBLY be some drivers. How many burning programs do you have installed? Ex. CloneCD, Nero. I recommend only keeping 2 cuz if you have too many than it will corrupt your drivers. Players like iTunes and WMP can stay.

This has happened to me too. I ended up having to purchase a new drive.
