Why wont it let me put songs onto a blank CD. Im doing it from windows media player and there is a blank CD in there?... ARGH!!
It always used to work!!! ALSO It works with other CD's?

windows media player has always been a issue when used for burning,its not very user friendly,which goes for everything thats in windows,you would think they would make things like media player,movie maker ect a bit easier to use
i have used and will continue to use nero(http://www.nero.com/eng/Downloads.html),as its so user friendly and its so reliable,i get around one failure in every 100 burns,and i use all makes of cd-r/dvd-r,even the 5 for a pound at the local saver store,infact these cheap disks are probally better than tdk,basf,ect
also why not try upgrading to the new media player 11(http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player/download/download.aspx)this is a new and improved media player and from what i have seen its much sleaker and easier to use
another option is to use a alternative media player such as real player(http://uk.real.com/player/?&src=realplayer,ZG.uk.idx.sp.hd.def)which has a much easier burning interface and has its own on-line music libary,i found a track by a unknown artist that i couldnt find on any other media player ,the reason that some people dont like real player is that it requires personal info,but no more than if you were setting up yahoo mail

You can put the songs the the directory of the CD-Player in My Comp.
Windows will do the rest, this is probably a lot faster too.

Are you sure its a cd and not a plate from the kitchen? Cant put many music tracks on a plate dont you know!

Never use media player myself, (for best results use winamp kids!) don't you need burning software like Nero for example?
