PS I don't mean -when- you are ripping the music from the CD, I mean when it's already too late, and it's on your computer in .wma format.

I had the same problem, though I forget how I fixed it. First, you could try to rename the file to "filename.mp3" If that doesn't work, try this... http://www.wma-mp3.com/

it depends....sometimes wma files are imbedded with digital rights management which prevents you from converting the files and there is no way to get around these drm's

other wise look at www.download.com for a converting program there usually pretty common


DO NOT just change the file extension from .wma to .mp3 thats idiotic and in no way will work!!!!!

Hmm, the way I usually do it is open the cd in iTunes and then make sure that the import quality is mp3 192kbps and then just rip it
