Put the Windows CD in your drive and have the Windows CD run from the CDROM instead of your hard drive (disk). After the setup starts, you will be able to choose an option to delete your partition. Delete your partition and then create a new partition. Windows will then partition your drive, format it, and proceed to install Windows.

Go to killdisk.com and download the free version of kill disk.Burn an auto execute file (exe.)to a disk-either floppy or cd.Follow directions that come with the program. This program will completely remove all information from your hard disk with 1's and 0's.

If your computer is not working properly while you are working on it, it could be a problem with device drivers, hardware or software.

did you check to see if your computer is compatible with the windows (operating system - whether it be - windows ME - windows XP ... etc.) program?

if it isn't - take it off and reinstall the original windows operating system
