I want to install it at school, and although I have permission, I would have to get a network administrator to come over just to install this tiny program. It takes two seconds to install, but I want to know if I can do it without getting the administrator.

I have a descrition of a Hotfix that clearly states that it addresses the problem I'm having with Access. However, there doesn't seem to be any clear way to ACTUALLY GET THE PATCH and fix my @$#%^$@%! machine. Can anyone help me actuallfix this problem, or am I stuck calling a service line that's going to charge me money to fix a problem they've already acknowledged?

Occasionally my computer will refuse to open up any new programs, and if MSN is open it will continue to make the erroneous beeping sound every second or so. It has been doing this for the past many hours. When it gets like this, certain buttons in the systray will not respond to right or left clicks. The prompt to help shutdown the computer will not even come up anymore so I can't fix this mess that way.

This all started after I fried my soundcard a few days back and switched back to onboard audio, but there may have been instances where this has happened before when I unplugged a PCI card accidently and windows crashed.

Any suggestions?

verified that I compressed OK...It is still something like 346MB and only 10MB are allowed. I'm hoping to sell some copies on INET, but it just ain't gonna' work if I can only send two songs at a time, without a cover pic. As most everyone else on disability...I need the bucks for drugs.... prescription, lol!!!

BTW... the songs average 2.5 minutes long, with a total of 30 minutes on the CD. Could it be the 90 piece orchestra ?? JOKE!! It's me and a guitar and a little back up singing...(she's 4'11" tall!! LOL!!!

A couple of weeks ago Windows 98 quit working for me. The splash screen comes up, windows starts to load, the background appears and so does the cursor. Nothing happens after that. I’m pretty sure that spyware off the internet attacked the registry. I say this because I can get into windows using “safe mode.” I want to know if there’s anything I can do to fix the registry (without a floppy drive....the drive doesn’t work).

Currently the maximum photo layout is only 6. The index is about 70 with nothing in between. I require around a 12 image layout.
