I am using Windows Me and get an Ibm0001 error on startup?

Computer reads cannot find IBM0001.exe

You can do a web search for that. You can also look in the start-up files and delete the entry for that. Start-run then msconfig, go to start-up and remove the check mark in the box that lists ibm - then reboot and see if it goes away.

That's a leftover from a virus you probably removed. Run Antivirus and Antispy scans in Safe Mode. If you still get the message, do Start > Run > sysedit and search for ibm0001 in each file. If you find it, delete the line.
