all versions of windows 98, ME, 2000, & XP including server versions
However you will want 98 or better for most devices and be aware that there are issues with USB support in 98 even. Today I would highly recommend using XP.

The earliest one would be Windows 95 version 2 and the others released since then including Windows 1998, Windows me, Windows 2000, Windows XP (all versions)and Windows server 2003. The new one known as Vista or longhorn will support it too.

To be safe, Windows 98 and up - the 95 "a" version does not recognize USB.

I think anything above 98. Everything else will run it with drivers
