I need to get a copy of Microsoft Office (compatible with Windows ME edition). Can anyone tell me where I can get it cheapest? Is it possible to download Word, Excel, Powerpoint from anywhere?

Uh,,,,are you insane? Nobody- and I mean NOBODY in their right mind- would even consider using Microsoft ME in this day and age.

Dump the ME, replace it with the Windows Xp- just do it, the headaches you get with ME isn't worth it- I know, I've got a POS computer that is still running ME- its a nightmare.

Then, to find the Microsoft Office, go on Ebay and find a new edition that someones bought BUT HASN'T OPENED.

Let me say that again- A NEW OLD STOCK THAT HAS NOT BEEN OPENED- IF YOU BUY A COPY THATS ALREADY BEEN REGISTERED MICROSOFT WILL JAM YOUR COMPUTER AND TURN IT OFF

No, you CANNOT download Word, Excel, Powerpoint from anywhere on the net- Bill Gates Microsoft will hunt you down, beat your a.ss and then give you a lawsuit. This attitude of "Kill everything that I can't control" by Bill Gates is the #1 reason why people are now going with "Open Source" software, aka Linux

These guys arnt that helpful. Microsoft Office is currently expensive until Version 2007 is released in Januaray 2007. You could wait or try OpenOffice from OpenOffice.org . It's virus free, almost like MS Word and Excel and can also open MS Word files. Great FREE program. Give it a shot!

Can't beat MS Office. Anytime you want a deal, go to
www.bizrate.com
and run a search. Available products will be listed with competing retailers. Just be sure to look for legitimate, with key code, etc. or you will be wasting your money.

For MS office see link below.

However, I would ditch your M.E. machine for an XP.
