I have Windows Media Player 10 and it says my computer doesn't have a DVD decoder.....I have a dvd drive....but all the decoders I've found you have to buy. Where can I find a free one????

whenever i restart or shut down my system all the files which are in recycle bin or any recently opened document in word or excel are removed, i dont know why this happens? i think some configurations are changed by mistake, so pls if anybody know how to solve my this problem pls tell me

I was downloaded a video clip from internet and i copied into CD and try to play it on VCD player but it wasn't. Coz the file i have downloaded was windows media player. VCD player normaly reads only .DAT file. Can anybody tell me how can i convert the Windows media files into .DAT File

i have a dual-boot computer with Xp-sp1 and 98.yesterday i installed SP2 on xp and all was well during installation.the install was over and it was time to restart the computer which i did and after restart i pressed the xp option on OS choices menu and it entered the xp open screen with the ticker going through one cycle after which it did not move and got struck.i tried F8 and last known good,debugging,directory services,safe mode but it didnt work.so friends anybody out there who can help me please.what should i do.

I purchased norton system works and ghost. when I finaly loaded works the live update did not work. I have spent hours following Symantec's tech. advice and now am left with a computer with no cover and no response from the tech. dept. This problem has been going on for over 3 weeks and all I recieve from tech. is standard letters. I wonder if they actualy read the many emails I have sent. Can anyone give me a name of a real person who I may contact to help sort my problem.

When I try to use my cam on Yahoo messenger with my friends I get the message " Server is too busy try again in a few minutes" ..constantly. When someone else tries to share cam with me I get the message " this person's webcam is not available." Someone PLZ tell me how to fix this and is any one else having the same problems??? thanks in advance. ~ Sandra
