I need to know if Yahoo!Mail is pop3 or something else so I can set up Outlook to pull down the mail.

traditionally, the free version of yahoo has not permitted pop3 access. i think you have to pay for it. same with hotmail.
gmail permits pop3 access.

you have to pay to get pop3 with yahoo. if you already pay do a search on yahoo on how to setup your outlook to work with yahoo mail

You have to upgrade to Yahoo Mail Plus, so that you have pop. This will allow you to use yahoo with outlook

Download ypops and then set up your acount on Outlook

you need to pay for the pop3 smtp service, free accounts doesn't do that any more.
pop3: pop.mail.yahoo.com (receive)
smtp: smtp.mail.yahoo.com (send)
