I have the Windows XP Home Edition Upgrade CD. My computer is currently Windows 2000. The CD is for use only with Windows 98 or ME. Is there any way to upgrade my computer from Windows 2000 to Windows XP Home Edition? If so, please state the least expensive way. Or is there an Upgrade CD for my Windows XP home Edition Upgrade CD that will allow me to have the full-version of XP (instead of the Upgrade Version) without buying the entire CD?

I consider myself comfortable with Excel, however there is something that i am unsure of how to do and would appreciate your help in finding a solution.

I created a spreadsheet, basically a self evaluation. in my table, i would like one of the columns to contain a drop-down box in each cell, where three options present themselves (ie X, Y Z)

When i selection X the cell turns blue
When i selection Y the cell turns red
When i selection Z the cell turns yellow

I'm then looking to count the number of options selected

eg

x = 2
y = 4
z = 4

as opposed to having three seperate colums in my table, at the moment my three columns = x y z

to count the option i simply put a 1 where appicable, and then count the sum. the solution is the same result, but for data entry purposes its not as clear as could be.

I'm thinking this is involoves some VB,

if you can point me in the right direction, that would be excellent.

I bought on ebay a pinnacle PCTV Stereo TV card. Alas the software that came with it, is the software you can download from the pinnacle web site. But without the original software this gives only the functionality of a PCTV rave card, while the PCTV stereo card does much more.
Can anyone send me the original software that came with the card? Pinnacle doesn't give any support.
As I do have the hardware and the software is useless without the hardware would it be regarded as theft if you'd sent it to me?

i had used partition magic programme to join two partiotions in my hard drive , but the original contents cannot be seen or accessed. the hard drive information shows that there are contents in it but when i open the drive i can't see anything. i have tried using system recovery and changing drive letters and everything but still i can't mange to get the contents, can anyone help me witht the problem ,please?

I have been trying to upgrade GPS Dest 2 to Dest 6 (which Dest technologies said was OK) But I can't install the nav software from the Dest Console. I get the error msge cannot retreive data from mobile device. even when shown as connected and syncd .
I think it may be that ppc2002 needs upgrading

I have a database created by an older program (not Access) that I need to open and retrieve information for my business. The manufacturer put a password on there so that only it's program could open it. I do not use that program, but it has information I need. Is there a way to find that password or circumvent the password altogether?

I'm really interested in learning Flash, but I'm not quite ready for the $700 Flash 8 Super Mega Edition. I've been looking at Flash 5 or perhaps Flash Mx, but I want something cheap and effective for a beginner. What should I get and where would be a good place to get it? I can get a tutorial book somewhere if things are too complicated at first, so I'm not worried about that. But I'm looking for something possibly around $150 or less. Are there pro's and con's to those two programs? Especially considering their prices?
