I had a lot of MUSIC on iTunes and now it's all gone and I'm signed in, WHAT HAPPENED????

There isn't any spyware / viruses on the computer?l?l? Help please.

I did that search and none of my iTunes songs that I bought came up. The others came up. This is a Windows XP and I have the iTunes version that's before the newest one, whatever that is.

ok, i just updated iTunes and i know how to access my music. IT ISN'T THERE.

could be anything, you need to be more specific. spy/adware is unlikely to cause such a thing, but if you're so sure you have none, try using the programs "spybot search and destroy" and "lavasoft adaware SE"

on the side corner of ITunes, see what LIBRARY OR PLAYLIST is selected, should be something like music library, to return all your songs into the IPOD "playlist"

search your pc for this exactly "*.mp3" and if there is mp3's in your collection at least one should show up (probably many) then right click and open containing folder and you should find your whole collection there or a few directories up
