My windows media player or any other program i used to play music and movies runs kindda slow-the image and the sound-my computer is not old--can some 1 tell me how to fix this plz. Thanks

.wma files are meant for Windows Media Player, so I don't know of any way to play them on my Mac computer. I got sent a song by somebody but am not able to play it...please help?

I heard of wma to mp3 converters and things like that, but they cost money and I heard that the sound quality is worse after converting.

What I'd like to do is take a list of numbers and compare them to see which number repeats the most and place that number in another cell. Problem is, I don't know enough about Excel to write the proper formula. Can anyone help me?

My laptop came with a trial version of some software that would replace almost all ads on websites with blank boxes. I loved this feature because I rarely saw any form of advertisements while surfing, but now the trial is over and I can't find the program that did it. Does anyone know a program that will cover up advertisement images that are embedded into websites? I'm using Internet Explorer (I also use Firefox, but IE is just easier for some of the surfing I do). I don't need a pop-up blocker, I have two or three of those running and they work great. For an example of what I want: the ad at the top of every Myspace page was sometimes like completely erased from the page with the program I had.

when i open yahoo messenger or internet explorer my comp turns in blue screen and displays a message a fatal exception OE has occurred at 0028:c14A1DB9 and never get back to normal untill i restart the comp ....not only that when i shutdown the comp it displays a message explorer error and tahes some time to shutdown pls help me..

So what regular drive maintenance do you do (and how often?)

What happens if there's something wrong (directory, etc.) - what tools do you use?
And short of sending the drive off to a recovery group, what do you use to recover the information?
I'm also interested in any SCSI/Raid tools as well.

I bought a Logitech quickcam Messenger 2 years ago. Then last month my PC Crashed, and I had to reinstall Windows.

I lost the CD Software for my webcam, Is there a way i can download it from the internet without paying anything or something?

Do you need the disk to work the cam?

XP Pro is designed for small and large businesses, as said on microsoft.com.

also does that mean you can buy one pack of Windows XP Pro and use it on multiple PCs in your office, with just one CD-Key?

If this is true, how many PCs doesnt that pack actually support?

Or I have to buy XP Pro "business edition" (which I haven't heard of, maybe it exists!)

ok....when i woke up this morning i could hear my aim still working....then i open the lid and i get a black screen. So i turn it off then back on and it shows me a grey screen with a little blue folder that blinks back and forth between a question mark then the mac sign (the little face puzzle piece thingy). Then i wait and wait and it just turns off....HELP ME FIX THIS!!!! i need my computer today and the mac phone people dont work sundays :-(
