.wma files are meant for Windows Media Player, so I don't know of any way to play them on my Mac computer. I got sent a song by somebody but am not able to play it...please help?

I heard of wma to mp3 converters and things like that, but they cost money and I heard that the sound quality is worse after converting.

I tried downloading the wma codec thing but it didn't work because it said the software isn't supported on intel-based Macs. Mine is intel-based. Now what do I do???

All you have to do is download the wma codec for Quicktime from Microsoft, or you can download Windows Media player for Mac.

You can try the videoLAN player, it says it will play wma files on a mac. It probably won't if they protected(drm) files.
