i need an email that is a electronic email receit from noreply@steampowered.com within the last 8 month that i paid for a game from their site and their saying i didnt pay for it

It just keeps signing out and then signing back in again, every now and then. Even during the middle of conversations, which is now beginning to get me cheesed off. I have a PC and messenger is set to no proxies with firewall, (mainly because of the firewall). Can anyone suggest any potential fixes without retrograding to v7? Thanks.

I got AOE3 and the graphics are screwy. The game loads and plays and the menus are fine, but the game's actual graphics are screwed. If I move to a different section of land where there are no people, it works sometimes too.

My graphics card doesn't support Hardware Transformation and Lighting, which is a requirement of the program. Is there any way to fix this or should I just give the game away?

If i try to scan my Computer i get a error message.It tells me "You need to install the detection updates first by using the integrated update or the manual updater".I don't know what does it means.Plz help i am a newbie


AND IF I TRY TO UPDATE I GET A ERROR MESSAGE TELLING ME
ERROR RETRIEVING UPDATE INFO FILE!
SOCKET ERROR# 10060
CONNECTION TIMED OUT.

it has been installed on my computer before and that is the problem. the old driver has to be uninstalled before it will allow me to start installation. i can't figure out how to uninstall the old driver. i thought i had deleted the actual program, but the driver remains. please help

I just need an OS that will sit there in the background running my PC while I get on with the interesting stuff. Im not remotly a computer nut, I just want a hassle free life. I freely admit that the majority of functions on WindowsI never use. Like I said, I just want a no-hassle, up to date OS.
Is linux for me?
