How do i read an encrypt file on my computer??

It always ask me what i would like to open it with. Whats a good software to open an encrypt file. Any suggestions would be muh appreciated.

I think it was encrypted with winrar. But i have no idea how to undo it.

depends on what the file was encrypted with. look up the programs associated with the file extension. google will work
