I want the sound that plays in an SWF to stand alone as a wave file that I can use in other applications or even use it as a ringtone in my mobile. Anyway to decompose the SWF or have its componenets separately to use each on their own?

You'll find what you're looking for here: (and in general what software should you use if you want to decompile a swf file).

You need to download a software call SWF Decompiler.
A good brand is from SoThink.
You can then export the audio file out as mp3 or swf :)

Hope this helps!

If you have the fla file use the export option in Macromedia flash
If not use a program for decompiling the swf like sothnik swf decompiler

Fristly you will have to convert the SWF file to video file and then Video file to audio file To do this you need a video converter

Total Video Converter Can do this.

You can even compress the audio file for your mobile.
